Our Story
Hello and welcome! We’re Mariah and Eric Klein, the owners and dog lovin’ bakers of The Joy of Wagging. We’re located in Medford, Oregon. We have two dogs, Huxley and Adley. Our world pretty much revolves around our dogs and our growing pack of client dogs. So, yes, it’s a good life.
The Joy of Wagging Begins
Several years ago I (Mariah) became a certified positive reinforcement dog trainer through The Karen Pryor Academy of Professional Dog Trainers. In my main line of work I go through TONS of treats. We were already making homemade treats for our dogs when I thought about using our treats for the training business.
One thing quickly led to another and in early 2022 we launched The Joy of Wagging, in addition to my training company, The Dog Training Connection. Eric and I are constantly expanding our product line and testing new ideas. Our dogs have become the quality control team, testing and guiding our recipes. Nothing goes out the door without the paws up from our guys.
